Archiving the files
This step is done to simplify the second step, the uploading. It is recommended to use WinRAR since this program has the best compression ratio for audio files
Select the files (or directory) you want to archive, right click and select ‘Add to archive…’.
This window opens:
A. Choose best compression (no need to pack unnecessary bytes)
B. Put recovery record (this way there can be small errors in the download
process, without forcing the downloader to download it all over again)
C. Split the archive in case it exceeds the maximum size for the hoster. 100MB
for RapidShare and 500MB for MegaUpload.
D. To add a password, go to the ‘Advanced’ tab and select ‘Set password’. Make
the password

2. Uploading the archive
As the rules state, these two servers are allowed:
www.rapidshare.com
www.megaupload.com
You simply go to the site, click browse, select the file, fill in what other
field is necessary and click upload. Both these sites have tools (RapidUploader
and
MegaManager) if you want to be able to queue uploads and sometimes also
improve upload speeds.
When the upload is ready, don't forget to copy the link. RapidShare gives you
both a download link and a delete link – choose the correct one!
